The Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course II (BRC II) is a one-day intensive (7:45 AM – 5:00 PM) class for experienced riders conducted at the PuebloPlex in Pueblo, CO. Successful completion of both the State skills and knowledge exams will earn you a motorcycle endorsement in Colorado. You may complete your waiver and release forms before class, print them and bring them with you to class. Which class is right for you?
Requirements:
- eCourse: Complete the MSF eCourse before class (link emailed after registration). Present your certificate at check-in (print or screenshot completion certificate).
- Registration: Provide date of birth and driver’s license info for post class DMV processing at checkout.
- Skills Screening: You must pass a mandatory maneuvers assessment to continue the course. This is required by the state and is the first exercise in the class.
- Gear: Bring a helmet (half helmets not allowed), eye protection, long sleeves or jacket, long pants, gloves, and over-the-ankle boots. Need help choosing motorcycle gear?
- Minors: Students under 18 require a parent/guardian present on day one for waivers. We will need student and parent/guardian email, ID info and phone number.
Logistics:
- Motorcycles: We provide a training bike with a clutch as part of the class. We do not have three wheel motorcycles or scooters available at this time. The endorsement you earn, if successful in the class, will allow you to ride a three-wheel motorcycle.
- Access: An entrance barcode will be texted the day before class starts. You can see what the barcodes look like and get directions to the facility here. Parents/guardians of minors enrolling, we need both the student and guardian’s driver’s license/ID and phone numbers for you both to access the facility. Please enter the additional details in the comments section below or at checkout.
- Military: Verify on-base riding requirement compliance with your leadership. The Basic Rider Course II may count for your on-base riding advanced class.
- Refunds: Classes are non-refundable, but we will gladly change your class date to suit your schedule. However, any reschedule within 72 hours of the class date may result in a rescheduling fee. Any no show on day of class may also incur additional fees. See our rescheduling policy here for details.
NOTE: We do not have three-wheel motorcycles or classes of any kind. All training bikes we use are two-wheel with a clutch!
If you register for this class and then request a refund because we don’t have three-wheel motorcycles or bikes without a clutch, your refund will be minus the $12 credit card processing fee we are charged even if we refund your money.
