The Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course in Pueblo, Colorado is a two-day program (7:45 AM – 5:00 PM) designed for anyone who can ride a bicycle. Completion earns you a motorcycle endorsement by passing both the state skills and knowledge exams. Which class is right for you? Please read the entire class description for key details.
Key Requirements & Logistics:
- eCourse: You must complete an MSF eCourse before class. A link will be emailed after enrollment. A completed eCourse is valid for 30 days from the date of completion. Print or take a screenshot of your eCourse completion certificate and bring it to class.
- Registration Info: Date of birth and driver’s license details are required for DMV processing, and are collected at checkout.
- Gear: You must bring a helmet (half helmets not allowed), eye protection, long pants, a long-sleeve shirt or jacket, gloves, and over-the-ankle boots. Limited loaner helmets and gloves are available. Need help choosing motorcycle gear?
- Minors: Students under 18 must have a parent/guardian present on day one to sign waivers. We need parent’s/guardian’s ID details, phone, and email as well as the minor student’s details for facility access.
- Waivers: You can print and complete your waiver and release in advance to speed up check-in.
- Refunds & Reschedule: Classes are non-refundable, but we will gladly change your class date to suit your schedule. However, any reschedule within 72 hours of the class date may result in a rescheduling fee. Any no show on day of class may also incur additional fees. See our rescheduling policy here for details.
Notifications: Check your email (including spam) for the eCourse link. If you don’t have it 10 days before your class, please email us or call. Please check your Spam folder for the email. A barcode for facility entrance will be texted the day before class.
You can see what the barcodes look like and get directions to the facility here. Please call or text if you don’t receive the barcode, you can’t get onto the facility grounds without it and your ID.
We do not have three wheel classes or scooters available at this time. All training bikes we provide have a clutch. However, the endorsement you get with this class will allow you to ride a scooter, three-wheel trike or Can-Am.
Parents/guardians of minors, we will need both the student’s and your driver’s license/ID and phone numbers for you both to gain access to the facility. Each person needs a separate phone number for the bar code. Please enter extra details in the comments section below or at checkout.
