Colorado Motorcycle Academy PuebloPlex Access Instructions

February 4, 2026

We are located at PuebloPlex (formerly the US Army Chemical Depot). Classes start at 7:45am and run until 5pm. If you will be more than 15 minutes late, please email, call or text us and we will reschedule you for a different class date.

Driving Directions (click here for Google Maps):

  1. From I-25, take CO-47 E toward CSU Pueblo (Hwy 50 exit is currently closed for construction).
  2. Drive approx. 5 miles, take the left ramp to the Airport, and merge onto US-50 E.
  3. After 10.5 miles, take exit 329 toward PuebloPlex/CMA at overpass.
  4. Follow overpass directly to the front gate. Signs will indicate a “Military Reservation”; this is the correct location.

Entry & Parking:

  • Security: Present your ID and the QR code received via email and text at the gate. You can see what the QR codes look like at the bottom of this page. No drugs or weapons allowed.
  • Route: After the gate, take an immediate left onto 1st Arterial Rd.
  • Location: CMA is the large parking lot on the right. Look for black and white signs.
  • Parking: Turn right onto 4th Street, then immediately right into the range lot. Park along the chain-link fence at the back of the range, between the large RV and the portable toilet. Look for the parking signs. Our classroom is on the opposite side of the range from the blue storage container, just down the sidewalk past the portable toilet and smaller black trailer. It is the building with the brown roof and beige walls. Please check in there.

Additional Details: There aren’t any places to eat lunch near the range other than a couple of gas stations, so you may want to bring a lunch. Also, be sure you wear clothing appropriate for the season. One of the items that will make you more comfortable is appropriate gloves for the weather. In the colder months, it can be very chilly in the mornings; in warmer months, it can get quite hot. Students should dress in layers and remember that you must have long sleeves on at all times. This means if you wear short sleeves under a riding jacket or hoodie and then want to shed layers, you will be stuck with the jacket or hoodie all day. You cannot ride without long sleeves covering your arms.
