Refund, No-Show, and Rescheduling Policy
Refunds, Class Rescheduling & No-Show Policy
- Rescheduling (Less than 72 hours notice): If you reschedule your class without at least 72 hours’ notice, you will incur a $75 rescheduling fee.
- No-Shows: If you do not show up on the day of your scheduled class, you may be subject to additional fees up to and including 100% tuition being charged again.
- Refunds: We don’t offer refunds, we can reschedule you subject to the conditions stated above. We are still charged fees by the credit card companies for processing your class tuition even if money is refunded, we also incur costs for the eCourse you are required to take before you attend class in person.
- Late Arrival: If you are more than 15 minutes late to class you will need to reschedule subject to the conditions above. We cannot hold an entire class for one late student.
Why do we have this policy?
We are a small, family-owned and operated riding academy. The State of Colorado strictly limits our class sizes to a maximum of 8 students.
When a student cancels last-minute or doesn’t show up, that seat goes empty. Because we cannot fill it on short notice, we lose the tuition for that spot while still carrying the high operational costs of running the academy and providing much needed State testing in Pueblo and the surrounding communities.
While many schools in the Denver area charge full tuition again for late cancellations and no-shows, we try hard to avoid doing that. We truly appreciate your understanding and support in helping us keep our small business running smoothly!
